Our projects focus on verifiable greenhouse gas reductions and additional contributions to the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This is achieved through context-appropriate solutions and innovations, such as efficient cookstoves that use 60 percent less firewood or biogas plants that provide clean energy to communities. For the local people, especially women and children, this means less smoke at the cooking sites, cleaner air, and reduced health risks. The reduced wood consumption and increased cooking efficiency give families more time for other activities. Additionally, jobs are created, and people earn stable incomes. The climate and development impacts are measurable and transparently traceable, as the projects are certified by the strictest standards of the Gold Standard for the Global Goals.
